Masters of All Environments
Global’s key personnel have demonstrated market-leading productivity while operating land and shallow marine crews in diverse terrains: desert, arctic, jungle & swamp, highland mountains & ranges, and transition zone & shallow marine.
Global’s personnel have extensive experience building, mobilizing and managing seismic crews in desert terrains including Algeria, Libya, Egypt, the Middle East, and arid desert regions of Latin America, South Central Asia and Kazakhstan, Turkmenistan. While at PGS, Richard and his team launched operations in Saudi Arabia, acquiring one of the world’s highest trace density surveys with outstanding productivity, which resulted in repeated world-record breaking production performances for Saudi Aramco. In Algeria, Global Geophysical personnel have extensive experience in outfitting highly mechanized crews that can tackle the massive 300 meter sand dunes of the Western Desert.
In Alaska’s rugged Brooks Range Foothills, Global Geophysical personnel have extensive experience deploying specialized, high density arctic crews capable of high productivity output at extreme temperatures and topography. The company will deploy specialized fully rubber-tracked equipment that enables Global Geophysical to operate with minimal levels of environmental impact. While in pursuit of the exploitation of massive natural gas reserves in the extreme north, Global expects to deploy these exceptional arctic seismic solutions into Alaska, Canada, and Siberia within the next 5 years.
Based on the many years of experience operating in the Amazon rain forests and the tropics of Africa and the Far East, Global can aggressively compete in the swamps and jungles in the United States, Mexico, the Gulf of Mexico, South America, Africa and the Middle East. Global Geophysical managers and executives were the original operators that deployed 3D methodologies in these regions throughout the 1980’s and 1990’s. In addition, our high density product offerings enable Global to provide high quality seismic data via environmentally sound project designs.
Global’s personnel have experience in extreme topographic relief areas throughout the US Rockies, Canadian Rockies, and South America’s Andean mountains. We will deploy the industry’s largest receiver domain crews to provide high density seismic data in these geophysically complex areas.
Global’s experienced team includes industry leaders in shallow marine and transition zone (TZ) surveys worldwide. The M/V James H. Scott is a custom-built, 100 bar-meter energy source and shallow draft vessel. We can record contiguous data sets from onshore out to 50 meters water depth in all major operational areas worldwide, including the United States, Mexico, the Gulf of Mexico, Venezuela, Brazil, West Africa, Egypt, the Middle East, the Caspian Sea, India, Indonesia, Australia, and the Far East. Global Geophysical’s TZ and shallow marine equipment is “light tackle” in nature, modular in design, and built to be highly portable. This ease of transport will reduce the high mobilization costs of heavier marine TZ operations. |
